1. What is Designs By Danny?

“Designs by Danny”,is a handmade one-of-Kind designer necklaces line and online boutique. 

2. How did you get started with your company?

I’ve always loved fashion and had a passion to create things and I acted on this passion when I had some free time after my husband had surgery. I began to take pieces of jewelry, fabric, and other accessories and started to create necklaces. I showed a few pieces to him and he encouraged me to continue. I posted a couple of pieces on Facebook to show what I made and the response from the pictures were amazing. People from everywhere started to inbox me and ask "Hey, do you sell these?" and "Can you make me one?" and from there I started Designs By Danny. I created my first necklace in August 2011 and the business has been booming ever since. I also wanted to make “Designs by Danny” unique. In these days where everyone is wearing the same necklaces, a Designs by Danny necklace gives life to your outfit.

3. What is the vision for your company? 

My vision for DesignsByDanny ....I want DesignsByDanny to become a household name, I want my line to expand to major retail stores!

4. Where do you see yourself and Designs By Danny in 5 years?

I see Designs By Danny in my own Boutique. Expanding my women's line to men and children! I would also like my brand to be in major retail stores in the near future and I'm working on that now!

5. What advice would you give ro anyone looking to start their own business?

Believe in your passion and trust in your craft! These two things I feel like every business owner needs to survive. The reason I say believe in your passion and trust in your craft, is because before anyone will love your product, you have to love it first, know that whatever your doing no one can do it like you. Know that your the best at it. If its your passion you love doing it without money, so money just adds to the passion you have for your craft!
